Honeybees Vanishing

The honeybees are being called the canary in the coal mine….

By ALEXEI BARRIONUEVO

Published: February 27, 2007VISALIA, Calif., Feb. 23 — David Bradshaw has endured countless stings during his life as a beekeeper, but he got the shock of his career when he opened his boxes last month and found half of his 100 million bees missing.
In 24 states throughout the country, beekeepers have gone through similar shocks as their bees have been disappearing inexplicably at an alarming rate, threatening not only their livelihoods but also the production of numerous crops, including California almonds, one of the nation’s most profitable.“I have never seen anything like it,” Mr. Bradshaw, 50, said from an almond orchard here beginning to bloom. “Box after box after box are just empty. There’s nobody home.”

The sudden mysterious losses are highlighting the critical link that honeybees play in the long chain that gets fruit and vegetables to supermarkets and dinner tables across the country.

Beekeepers have fought regional bee crises before, but this is the first national affliction.

Now, in a mystery worthy of Agatha Christie, bees are flying off in search of pollen and nectar and simply never returning to their colonies. And nobody knows why. Researchers say the bees are presumably dying in the fields, perhaps becoming exhausted or simply disoriented and eventually falling victim to the cold.

As researchers scramble to find answers to the syndrome they have decided to call “colony collapse disorder,” growers are becoming openly nervous about the capability of the commercial bee industry to meet the growing demand for bees to pollinate dozens of crops, from almonds to avocados to kiwis.

Along with recent stresses on the bees themselves, as well as on an industry increasingly under consolidation, some fear this disorder may force a breaking point for even large beekeepers.

A  Cornell University study has estimated that honeybees annually pollinate more than $14 billion worth of seeds and crops in the United States, mostly fruits, vegetables and nuts. “Every third bite we consume in our diet is dependent on a honeybee to pollinate that food,” said Zac Browning, vice president of the American Beekeeping Federation.

The bee losses are ranging from 30 to 60 percent on the West Coast, with some beekeepers on the East Coast and in Texas reporting losses of more than 70 percent; beekeepers consider a loss of up to 20 percent in the offseason to be normal.

Beekeepers are the nomads of the agriculture world, working in obscurity in their white protective suits and frequently trekking around the country with their insects packed into 18-wheelers, looking for pollination work.

Once the domain of hobbyists with a handful of backyard hives, beekeeping has become increasingly commercial and consolidated. Over the last two decades, the number of beehives, now estimated by the Agriculture Department to be 2.4 million, has dropped by a quarter and the number of beekeepers by half.

Pressure has been building on the bee industry. The costs to maintain hives, also known as colonies, are rising along with the strain on bees of being bred to pollinate rather than just make honey. And beekeepers are losing out to suburban sprawl in their quest for spots where bees can forage for nectar to stay healthy and strong during the pollination season.

“There are less beekeepers, less bees, yet more crops to pollinate,” Mr. Browning said. “While this sounds sweet for the bee business, with so much added loss and expense due to disease, pests and higher equipment costs, profitability is actually falling.”

Some 15 worried beekeepers convened in Florida this month to brainstorm with researchers how to cope with the extensive bee losses. Investigators are exploring a range of theories, including viruses, a fungus and poor bee nutrition.

They are also studying a group of pesticides that were banned in some European countries to see if they are somehow affecting bees’ innate ability to find their way back home.

It could just be that the bees are stressed out. Bees are being raised to survive a shorter offseason, to be ready to pollinate once the almond bloom begins in February. That has most likely lowered their immunity to viruses.

Mites have also damaged bee colonies, and the insecticides used to try to kill mites are harming the ability of queen bees to spawn as many worker bees. The queens are living half as long as they did just a few years ago.

Researchers are also concerned that the willingness of beekeepers to truck their colonies from coast to coast could be adding to bees’ stress, helping to spread viruses and mites and otherwise accelerating whatever is afflicting them.

Dennis van Engelsdorp, a bee specialist with the state of Pennsylvania who is part of the team studying the bee colony collapses, said the “strong immune suppression” investigators have observed “could be the AIDSof the bee industry,” making bees more susceptible to other diseases that eventually kill them off.

Growers have tried before to do without bees. In past decades, they have used everything from giant blowers to helicopters to mortar shells to try to spread pollen across the plants. More recently researchers have been trying to develop “self-compatible” almond trees that will require fewer bees. One company is even trying to commercialize the blue orchard bee, which is virtually stingless and works at colder temperatures than the honeybee.

Beekeepers have endured two major mite infestations since the 1980s, which felled many hobbyist beekeepers, and three cases of unexplained disappearing disorders as far back as 1894. But those episodes were confined to small areas, Mr. van Engelsdorp said.

Today the industry is in a weaker position to deal with new stresses. A flood of imported honey from China and Argentina has depressed honey prices and put more pressure on beekeepers to take to the road in search of pollination contracts. Beekeepers are trucking tens of billions of bees around the country every year.

California’s almond crop, by far the biggest in the world, now draws more than half of the country’s bee colonies in February. The crop has been both a boon to commercial beekeeping and a burden, as pressure mounts for the industry to fill growing demand. Now spread over 580,000 acres stretched across 300 miles of California’s Central Valley, the crop is expected to grow to 680,000 acres by 2010.

Beekeepers now earn many times more renting their bees out to pollinate crops than in producing honey. Two years ago a lack of bees for the California almond crop caused bee rental prices to jump, drawing beekeepers from the East Coast.

This year the price for a bee colony is about $135, up from $55 in 2004, said Joe Traynor, a bee broker in Bakersfield, Calif.

A typical bee colony ranges from 15,000 to 30,000 bees. But beekeepers’ costs are also on the rise. In the past decade, fuel, equipment and even bee boxes have doubled and tripled in price.

The cost to control mites has also risen, along with the price of queen bees, which cost about $15 each, up from $10 three years ago.

To give bees energy while they are pollinating, beekeepers now feed them protein supplements and a liquid mix of sucrose and corn syrup carried in tanker-sized trucks costing $12,000 per load. Over all, Mr. Bradshaw figures, in recent years he has spent $145 a hive annually to keep his bees alive, for a profit of about $11 a hive, not including labor expenses. The last three years his net income has averaged $30,000 a year from his 4,200 bee colonies, he said.

“A couple of farmers have asked me, ‘Why are you doing this?’ ” Mr. Bradshaw said. “I ask myself the same thing. But it is a job I like. It is a lifestyle. I work with my dad every day. And now my son is starting to work with us.”

Almonds fetch the highest prices for bees, but if there aren’t enough bees to go around, some growers may be forced to seek alternatives to bees or change their variety of trees.

“It would be nice to know that we have a dependable source of honey bees,” said Martin Hein, an almond grower based in Visalia. “But at this point I don’t know that we have that for the amount of acres we have got.”

To cope with the losses, beekeepers have been scouring elsewhere for bees to fulfill their contracts with growers. Lance Sundberg, a beekeeper from Columbus, Mont., said he spent $150,000 in the last two weeks buying 1,000 packages of bees — amounting to 14 million bees — from Australia.

He is hoping the Aussie bees will help offset the loss of one-third of the 7,600 hives he manages in six states. “The fear is that when we mix the bees the die-offs will continue to occur,” Mr. Sundberg said.

Migratory beekeeping is a lonely life that many compare to truck driving. Mr. Sundberg spends more than half the year driving 20 truckloads of bees around the country. In Terra Bella, an hour south of Visalia, Jack Brumley grimaced from inside his equipment shed as he watched Rosa Patiño use a flat tool to scrape dried honey from dozens of beehive frames that once held bees. Some 2,000 empty boxes — which once held one-third of his total hives — were stacked to the roof.

Beekeepers must often plead with landowners to allow bees to be placed on their land to forage for nectar. One large citrus grower has pushed for California to institute a “no-fly zone” for bees of at least two miles to prevent them from pollinating a seedless form of Mandarin orange.

But the quality of forage might make a difference. Last week Mr. Bradshaw used a forklift to remove some of his bee colonies from a spot across a riverbed from orange groves. Only three of the 64 colonies there have died or disappeared.

“It will probably take me two to three more years to get back up,” he said. “Unless I spend gobs of money I don’t have.”

Global Food Riots pt 1

Global food riots turn deadly

By David R. Sands
April 10, 2008DESPERATE TIMES: Men accused of looting near the presidential palace in Port-au-Prince are put in a police vehicle in Haiti yesterday. The rise in global food prices has caused thievery and riots, as well as fatalities.

Anger over spiraling world food prices is becoming increasingly violent.

Deadly clashes over higher costs for staple foods have broken out in Egypt, Haiti and several African states, and an international food expert yesterday warned of more clashes with no short-term relief in sight.

“World food prices have risen 45 percent in the last nine months and there are serious shortages of rice, wheat and [corn],” Jacques Diouf, head of the Rome-based U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), said at a major conference in New Delhi yesterday.

“There is a risk that this unrest will spread in countries where 50 to 60 percent of income goes to food,” he said.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon issued a personal appeal for calm in Haiti yesterday. U.N. peacekeepers were called to protect the residence of President Rene Preval from rioters protesting sharp increases in the prices of food and fuel. At least five people have been reported killed in disturbances since last week after the cost of rice doubled and gas prices rose a third time since February.

A supermarket, several gas station marts and a government rice warehouse were looted, the Associated Press reported.

Video:

Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif this week promised concessions to workers in the industrial city of Mahalla al-Kobra after two days of rioting over rising food prices left one protester dead.

The clashes were described as the most serious anti-government demonstrations since 1977 riots erupted over soaring bread prices.

The FAO has reported popular unrest over rising food prices in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Mozambique, Bolivia and Uzbekistan, among other countries.

The Philippines, the world’s biggest rice importer, moved to head off protests after global prices doubled in a year. Financial giant Credit Suisse yesterday reported that higher rice prices would cut the country’s gross domestic product this year by at least 1 percent.

The government of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo tightened controls of domestic rice sales and strengthened security at government storehouses to prevent hoarding. Anyone convicted of “stealing rice from the people” will be thrown in jail, she warned.

U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenney yesterday said the Bush administration would offset any rice shortfall with cuts from other exporters.

World Bank President Robert B. Zoellick said earlier this month that nearly three dozen countries face social unrest because of surging food and fuel prices. For the countries most at risk, “there is no margin for survival,” he said.

Josette Sheeran, executive director of the U.N. World Food Program, was in Washington last month making an urgent appeal for funds to compensate for rising prices.

“We’re asking for the world to really think through how we meet the emergency needs of the hungry,” Ms. Sheeran told The Washington Times.

Even the most repressive regimes are not immune to popular unrest. The spark for rioting against the military junta in Burma last year was a rise in food and fuel prices after the government abruptly removed subsidies.

International agricultural analysts have seen the crisis building for months, spurred by an unusual combination of forces that John Holmes, the chief U.N. humanitarian official, this week called a “perfect storm” of trends fueling demand, cutting supply and producing higher global grocery bills.

Among them: higher fuel prices that make transporting food more expensive and encourage farmers to shift from crop production to biofuels; rising food demand as China, India and other Asian countries grow wealthier; drought in major producers such as Australia; and speculation on major commodities markets that staple prices will stay high.

Mr. Holmes predicted at a conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that the situation will spill into the political arena.

“The security implications [of the food crisis] should not be underestimated, as food riots are already being reported across the globe,” he said. “Current food prices are likely to increase sharply both the incidence and depth of food insecurity.”

Ms. Sheeran told The Times that her agency was $500 million short for the current fiscal year in meeting needs to relieve the global food and fuel crises.

“We don’t have the buffering space” to cover such sharp increases in the cost of basic staples, she said.

Analysts say the price increases are across the board, not focused on one crop or market as in past commodity patterns.

A survey released by the Washington-based International Food Policy Research Institute found that the price of staple food has risen by 80 percent since 2005, including a 40 percent surge last year alone. The real price of rice is at a 19-year high and the price of wheat on world markets is at a 28-year high.

“The realities of demography, changing diets, energy prices and biofuels, and climate change suggest that high — and volatile — food prices will be with us for years to come,” said study author Joachim von Braun.

It is not just the poor who have taken to the streets over rising food prices.

Workers at the U.N. Relief and Works Agency in Jordan staged a one-day strike Monday to demand higher pay to cover rising food and gas prices. The action closed 177 schools for Palestinian refugees.

The U.N. staffers say they are prepared to walk off the job again next week if they do not get a pay raise.

Surging prices have led to food riots and protests around the globe.

EGYPT — Violent protests this week over soaring food prices left one dead and 15 injured.

HAITI — Five people were killed and about 20 injured in a week of protests, including an attack on U.N. peacekeepers.

CAMEROON — Violent food riots in February claimed 40 lives, and protests continue this month.

BURKINA FASO — A general strike is called this week over rising food prices, after protests earlier this year led to hundreds of arrests.

PHILIPPINES — The government beefs up security at rice warehouses to prevent theft and hoarding.

JORDAN — U.N. aid workers stage a one-day strike for more pay to cover food and fuel price increases.

BURMA — Cuts in fuel and food subsidies sparked massive anti-government protests last summer.

Time Wave Zero

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , on March 22, 2008 by oldmenwilldreamdreams

Terrence Mckenna  was known as a psychedelic shaman. He was a great thinker,a prolific writer and ethnobotanist, but spent most of his time trying to educate people about DMT. DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) is a psychedelic drug  different from LSD. He believed it took you to another level of consciousness, put you in contact with extraterrestrials and opened the portal to astral travel through the brain’s pineal gland (known as the third eye).

He was a fascinating character, whether you agree with his beliefs or not. Along with his brother he invented something called the Time Wave Theory. He took a keen interest in the ancient Chinese I-Ching which means “Book Of Changes”. The book is described as “a symbol system used to identify order in chance events. The text describes an ancient system of cosmology and philosophy that is intrinsic to ancient Chinese cultural beliefs. The cosmology centres on the ideas of the dynamic balance of opposites, the evolution of events as a process, and acceptance of the inevitability of change. In Western cultures and modern East Asia, the I Ching is sometimes regarded as a system of divination. The classic consists of a series of symbols, rules for manipulating these symbols, poems, and commentary.”

The I-Ching is made up of 64 binary mathematical patterns that are called hexagrams. These hexagrams are made up of different line patterns that change according to yin and yang, and I am guessing, the changing of the world and how it can be applied to your life. There are 64 different hexagrams in total. They look like this :

With an ingenious idea, Mckenna decided to mathematically collapse these hexagrams into a fractal wave pattern so he could map the change of what he called “novelty” in our world over time. Novelty means newness, change, innovations or as he puts it “the appearance of life in an inorganic world, of consciousness in an unconscious world, or of language in a world without language .” So it’s the mapping of changes from the creation of earth and the formation of life, to important human creations like language or the birth of religions etc…All the big transitions in epochs are mapped out on a graph on the computer. Now how the hell you do that using mathematics and the I-Ching I have no idea!!!

Now for the really interesting, nail biting part of this time wave theory…drumroll please…………Starting from the big bang and mapping time for 25 billion years his wave suddenly and inexplicably STOPS on December 21st 2012!! He calls this the Omega Point or the Zero Point hence “Time Wave Zero”. Even more interesting to note is that neither he nor his brother were aware of the Mayan calendar ending on that exact day! Repeat after me ::::Holy Fuck Balls::::

Just considering for a moment everything that has happened over the last 25 BILLION years, most of which we probably aren’t even aware of,I am at a loss. From the extinction of the dinosaurs, to ice ages to global flooding etc…I have to wonder what the hell could possibly completely STOP the time wave when it ebbed and flowed with all kinds of extremely dramatic changes on earth for all this time??

Mckenna theorizes this “Novelty Theory suggests that on December 21 of 2012 AD, at the coincidence of the moment of the solstice and the heliacal rising of the galactic center, levels of planetary novelty will exponentially increase. Theory does not make clear the nature of the ultranovel event, however. Speculation as to the nature of the encounter with the trans-dimensional object at the end of time includes the following:

Hyperspatial Breakthrough
Planetesimal Impact
Alien Contact
Historical Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis of Natural Law
Solar Explosion
Quasar Ignition at the Galactic Core “

That’s quite a list! Or maybe we all turn back into frogs? Is instantaneous metamorphic degeneracy a possiblity?  Top THAT Mckenna! You think you’re sooooo smart…. Actually, Terrence died in 2000 so I apologize. RIP. For more info on the Time wave theory and what it looks like, here are a couple of links-

I don’t know what will happen on 12-21-2012 but it certainly doesn’t sound like a day that will go by unnoticed. I also can’t help but wonder if the goverments and NASA might already have an idea of what it is. If there is truth to both the Time Wave Theory and The Mayan Calendar it would make Al Gore’s global warming theories one of the greatest hoaxes of our generation. The idea of  misuse or overuse of fossil fuels and excess CO2 causing this degree of global problems just isn’t cutting it for me anymore.

The excessive amount of earthquakes have become frightening. Our news doesn’t really talk about it but Sumatra/Indonesia is STILL getting big earthquakes and Tsunami warnings all the time. The last one was just last month. Israel, which on average has one earthquake per century, has gotten six just this year! That last one was a 5.3 and it ripped a hole in the Temple Mount. Now for religious people that could be seen as a sign.

If it IS something like planetesimal impact or major solar explosion and they know about it then there would have to be a great cover-up taking place to avoid mass hysteria. In theory it would have to include control over the population through distraction, lies and manipulation. The distraction could possibly be wars and the constant threat of (manufactured) terrorism. The manipulation could be through the media and also through all the drugs they are finding in our food and water supply that change people’s moods, health and even IQ. This is all just hypothesizing of course, there is no proof yet. Plus, it would have to be a lot of nations doing this, not just America. What’s happening here seems to be more of a political agenda so far.

The enormous Doomsday seed vault in Norway is pretty peculiar timing though. I think most people are aware of the underground bunkers/cities that governments around the world have had for years. All paid for by our taxdollars of course. It wouldn’t be unlike them to cover it up and then let the cat out of the bag and run underground. Only time will tell what the hell is really going on and by then it could be too late anyway.

Terrence Mckenna I think believed that this date would bring either hyperspacial breakthrough or historical metamorphosis or both. At least I think he had FAITH that that’s what it would be. He didn’t have a particular religion but he believed in a creator or creators of higher intelligence and a greater existence beyond this rat race run by greed and materialism. Therefore he was on the same plane as people who believe in God. Always reaching for something greater to make a connection. I have a great respect for him even though his methods were pretty out there and involved heavy psychedelic drug use which I can’t condone. His end goal was much the same as a lot of people. I’m going to end this with a snippet from him which considering he is no longer with us is all the more poignant :

“We are flesh which has been caught in the grip of some kind of an attractor that lies ahead of us in time, and that is sculpting us to its ends; speaking to us through psychedelics, through visions, through culture, and technology, consciousness. The language forming capacity in our species is propelling itself forward as though it were going to shed the monkey body and leap into some extra-surreal space that surrounds us, but that we can not currently see. Even the people who run the planet, the World Bank, the IMF, you name it, they know that history is ending. They know by the reports which cross their desks: the disappearance of the ozone hole [?], the toxification of the ocean, the clearing of the rain forests. What this means is that the womb of the planet has reached its finite limits, and that the human species has now, without choice, begun the decent down the birth canal of collective transformation toward something right around the corner and nearly completely unimaginable. And this is where the psychedelic shaman comes is because I believe that what we really contact through psychedelics is a kind of hyperspace. And from that hyperspace we look down on…, we look down on both the past and the future, and we anticipate the end. And a shaman is someone who has seen the end, and therefore is a trickster, because you don’t worry if you’ve seen the end. If you know how it comes out you go back and you take your place in the play, and you let it all roll on without anxiety. This is what boundary dissolution means. It means nothing less than the anticipation of the end state of human history.”

“This is not a dress rehearsal for the apocalypse. This is not a pseudo-millenium. This is the real thing folks. This is not a test. This is the last chance before things become so dissipated that there is no chance for cohesiveness. We can use the calender as a club. We can make the millenium an occasion for establishing an authentic human civilization, overcoming the dominator paradigm, dissolving boundaries through psychedelics, recreating a sexuality not based on monotheism, monogamy and monotony. We.. All these things are possible if we can understand the overarching metaphor which holds it together which is the celebration of mind as play, the celebration of love as a genuine social value in the community. This is what they have suppressed so long. This is why they are so afraid of the psychedelics, because they understand that once you touch the inner core of your own and someone else’s being you can’t be led into thing-fetishes and consumerism. The message of psychedelics is that culture can be re-engineered as a set of emotional values rather than products. This is terrifying news. And if we are able to make this point then we can pull back, we can pull back and we can transcend. Nine times in the last million years the ice has ground south from the poles pushing human populations ahead of it and those people didn’t f*ck up. Why should we then? We are all survivors. We are the inheritors of a million years of striving for the unspeakable. And now with the engines of technology in our hands we ought to be able to reach out and actually exteriorize the human soul at the end of time, invoke it into existence like a UFO and open the violet doorway into hyperspace and walk through it, out of profane history and into the world beyond the grave, beyond shamanism, beyond the end of history, into the galactic millenium that has beckoned to us for millions of years across space and time. THIS IS THE MOMENT. A planet brings forth an opportunity like this only once in its lifetime, and we are ready, and we are poised. And as a community we are ready to move into it, to claim it, to make it our own. It’s there. Go for it, and thank you.”

The Maya

One of the first things I think is of great interest to do with end times is The Mayan Calendar. It’s an extremely hot topic on the internet and there are lots of books being written about it today. The main reason being that it’s end date is supposedly 12-21-2012.  I never really believed all the Y2K hype. I figured the worst that could happen would be that computers might not recognize the date and be thrown off track, but even that never happened. However, 2012 and beyond I feel different about for a number of reasons. I don’t believe that the world will just cease to  exist, but I do believe a lot of destruction is on it’s way as we’ve seen happening the past 4 years or so. Jesus referred to it as “birthing pains”. The closer you get to the birth of something new,the more horrible and frequent the pain will become. Now whether or not the Maya were predicting the same new age as Jesus  is definitely up for debate. That is because according to the Bible, the exact date of his return is unknown to anyone, including him. That knowledge is reserved for God.

The Mayan Calendar is basically a brilliant spot-on galactic clock counting down to the end of a great cycle. They were measuring something called “The Precession Of The Equinoxes” that started with the beginning of the Earth’s transit through the 12 signs of the zodiac with each individual sign taking about 2,152 years . Each astrological age is represented by one month of the cosmic year. Below is a picture of the calendar/sunstone.

                                   Mayan Calendar

It is an extremely intricate piece of work and difficult to even understand in this day and age. I believe,if I am not mistaken, that it consists of five circles in total. Each circle within a circle represents a cycle of the sun. So in essence the total Precession of the equinoxes, which takes 25,625 years is made up of 5 smaller cycles which take 5,125 years each. Each creation cycle is said to have been ruled and destroyed by one of five elements : 4 Jaguar, 4 Wind, 4 Rain,4 Water.

” Our present great cycle (3113 BC-2012 AD) is called the Age Of The Fifth Sun. This time period is ruled by 4 Earth. This fifth age is the synthesis of the previous four. 4 Earth (called Caban in the Maya language and Ollin in Aztec) has several meanings, including: movement, shift, evolution, earthquake, navigation, synchronicity, clue tracking, turtle. “

” In Mayan calendrics, the initial date that Earth entered the Fifth World was August 13, 3113 BC, written in Mayan long count notation as 13.0.0.0.0. Every day from that point was reckoned by the number of days passed since the event of this cosmic beginning point. “

As Dr. Jose Arguelles writes in “Time and The Technosphere” –

August 13, 3113 BC is as precise and accurate as one can get for a beginning of history: the first Egyptian dynasty is dated to ca 3100 BC; the first ‘city,’ Uruk, in Mesopotamia, also ca 3100 BC; the Hindu Kali Yuga, 3102 BC; and most interestingly, the division of time into 24 hours of 60 minutes each and each minute into 60 seconds [and the division of the circle into 360 degrees], also around 3100 BC, in Sumeria. If the beginning of history was so accurately placed, then must not the end of history, December 21, 2012 also be as accurate”

The Mayans believed in something they called “The Road To Xibalba” , “The Crossroads” and it was represented by the dark rift in the Milky Way. Xibalba was to the Mayans what Hell is to the Christians. On 12-21-2012 when the sun is rising out of  the very center of the galactic equator ( where it hasn’t been for 26,000 years),all the planets of our solar system will be perfectly aligned in the sacred Mayan Tree of Life and the road to Xibalba will be opened.  :(

What I would like to know is where all the Mayans,Egyptians,Sumerians etc…got all of their information! In those days I know people lived with nature much differently than we do now,so their main focus would have been the earth and the cosmos, but no amount of studying could make you figure out a precession of equinoxes this accurate. I read that their calendar timed eclipses and the transit of Venus so perfectly that in 6,000 years it only had to be adjusted by one day! In fact on one of the days was timed the return of a god and they stood on the beach waiting for a bearded man and one DID come! The only problem was that it was Cortez with all his ships to steal all their land and kill a lot of their people along with their entire culture. How many calendars predict the return of gods to the day? To me that is an omen,a bad one. This calendar is a trojan horse. It predicts things perfectly, but what it is predicting is never what you think!

Many of the things destined to happen due to the end of this fifth cycle of the Sun have to due with the earth changing and shifting. Major earthquakes, major pole shifts because of magnetic changes, and huge solar flares are all described in Revelations as well. The only difference is that Revelations has included a cunning trickster who everyone will follow and worship and believe is bringing peace to the world when in fact his real goal is to destroy humanity.

I think I have a pretty good idea who gave them this depth of knowledge and who is making them believe in this “Golden Age” which is starting in 2013,but I’ll be posting a lot more on that later.

The Sun Is Gone,But I Have A Light

Posted in Uncategorized on March 17, 2008 by oldmenwilldreamdreams
I decided to start this blog in regards to the changing I’ve been feeling inside myself the past several weeks. I was online trying to do some more research on the Armenian genocide and it gave me a new bizarre twist or rather “conspiracy” which led me to the next thing and the next thing etc.. and suddenly I found myself in this hole of impending doom. The realization that things were far worse or far closer to the end than I thought or wanted to believe almost put me over the edge. The very day when all these things started coming together unbeknownst to me there was going to be a lunar eclipse. I heard about it on the news and I stepped outside and had this major “Oh Shit” feeling go through me. Everything I was thinking was manifesting itself all around me. Or maybe that’s vice versa ?
I had these dreams a few years ago, very scary apocalyptic ones. They were mainly huge natural disasters like volcanoes erupting, tornadoes, tsunamis etc..I had another one about looking up in the sky and seeing three moons. They felt very real but I just tried to ignore them. I then had one soon after where suddenly I was floating in what seemed like a vast ocean and there was no one else anywhere, just a bible floating along the water and it has stayed with me ever since. These things along with other important events in my life the past few years like a miracle I witnessed when I watched my grandmother die and a bizarre heart issue Ive had but couldn’t be pinpointed has felt like an inner compass leading me to feel like I have to prepare my spiritual self for something extreme in the coming years. I recently found this passage from the bible that made my dreams feel more real :

ACTS 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God,
I will pour out of my Spirit on all flesh:
And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
And your young men shall see visions,
And your old men shall dream dreams

I know some people who read this might not be of the same religious faith or any specific faith at all but too many things feel aligned at this point that it’s uncanny. It feels like the point of no return to me. Many generations before us have believed they were living in the end days and some of them sold all their belongings and stood outside foolishly waiting to be “raptured” and nothing ever happened!  I realize this, but I also realize that we’re living in a time where NUCLEAR powers are controlling the world with threats of “wars and rumors of wars”. We are living in the days beyond the prophecied  formation if Israel. We are living in the days when the earth itself is changing very fast and very dramatically. The list goes on…

I am interested in all sides of this including spiritual, scientific and political because I believe they are all connected. Anyway, with everything I’ve been reading and experiencing I was thinking of starting a separate blog or page of some kind where people of different faiths or beliefs or similar experiences or whoever is interested can discuss this kind of stuff if they want,so that’s what I’ve done. I don’t know if it’s a good idea or not but I thought it might be cathartic, either that or really painful!  We’ll see…..
